Ø  Chapter Objective

1.      Explain what a feasibility analysis is and why it’s important.

Feasibility analysis adalah proses menentukan apakah bisnis itu dapat berjalan atau tidak. Feasibility analysis penting karena jika tidak melakukannya terlebih dahulu, kita tidak akan tahu apakah ide tersebut patut dijalankan atau tidak.

2.      Discuss the proper time to complete a feasibility analysis when developing an entrepreneurial venture.

Waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan analisis kelayakan adalah sejak awal memikirkan prospek untuk bisnis baru. Pemikirannya adalah menyaring gagasan tersebut.

3.      Describe the purpose of a product/service feasibility analysis and the two primary issues that a proposed business should consider in this area.

Tujuan : Untuk memastikan bahwa ide tersebut akan menyelesaikan permasalahan customer, membantu lingkungan, dan menarik perhatian customer.

2 permasalahan yang dipertimbangkan di bisnis ini adalah jika setelah dipertimbangkan kembali hasilnya, akan dilanjutkan dengan rencana bisnisnya atau memikirkan kembali ide bisnis.

4.      Explain a concept statement and its components.

Konsep itu harus dikembangkan sebaik mungkin. Caranya adalah dengan mendeskripsikan bisnis tersebut dan mendistribusikannya kepada orang yang akan memberikan umpan balik tentang potensi bisnisnya. Umpan balik ini diharapkan akan memberi saran dan peluang bisnis bagi pengusaha. Ada beberapa komponennya yaitu :

-          Produk

-          Target pasar

-          Management team

-          Kelebihan produk yang tidak ada diperusahaan lain

5.      Describe the purpose of a buying intentions survey and how it’s administered.

Tujuannya untuk mengukur minat pelanggan dalam suatu produk atau layanan jasa. Bisa melalui situs online seperti contohnya Survey Monkey

6.      Explain the importance of library, Internet, and gumshoe research.

Karena pustakawan dapat mengarahkan kita menuju sumber daya yang akan membantu kita menyelidiki ide bisnis, seperti jurnal perdagangan industri spesifik dan laporan industri.

Pencarian di Internet juga sering menampilkan informasi penting tentang kemungkinan potensi suatu produk atau ide.

Penyelidik adalah orang yang mencari informasi atau petunjuk di mana pun mereka dapat ditemukan.

7.      Describe the purpose of industry/market feasibility analysis and the two primary issues to consider in this area.

Tujuan : untuk menjadi daya tarik industri yang akan dipasarkan.

Masalah : Daya Tarik Industri

     Target Daya Tarik Pasar

8.      Discuss the characteristics of an attractive industry.

-          Biasanya lebih muda

-          Lebih cepat dari orang biasa

-          Seiring waktu terus meningkatkan bakatnya

9.      Describe the purpose of organizational feasibility analysis and list the two primary issues to consider in this area.

Pertumbuhan penjualan yang stabil dan cepat selama 5 hingga 7 tahun pertama dalam pasar yang jelas. Persentase pendapatan yang tinggi, artinya sekali perusahaan memenangkan klien, klien akan menyediakan sumber pendapatan lagi.

Kemampuan untuk memperkirakan pendapatan dan pengeluaran dengan kepastian yang wajar. Dana yang dihasilkan secara internal untuk membiayai dan mempertahankan pertumbuhan. Ketersediaan peluang keluar bagi investor untuk mengkonversi ekuitas menjadi uang tunai.

10.  Explain the importance of financial feasibility analysis and list the most critical issues to consider in this area.

Financial feasibility  penting karena akan sejauh mana peluang bisnis ini positif terhadap faktor yang didasarkan pada perkiraan kinerja aktual.

            Masalah :

-          Pertumbuhan penjualan yang stabil dan cepat selama 5 hingga 7 tahun pertama dalam ceruk pasar yang jelas.

-          Persentase pendapatan berulang yang tinggi — artinya sekali perusahaan memenangkan klien, klien akan menyediakan sumber pendapatan berulang.

-          Kemampuan untuk memperkirakan pendapatan dan pengeluaran dengan tingkat kepastian yang wajar.

-          Dana yang dihasilkan secara internal untuk membiayai dan mempertahankan pertumbuhan.

-          Ketersediaan peluang keluar bagi investor untuk mengubah ekuitas menjadi uang tunai.

1.      Explain why it’s important to start a new firm when its “window of opportunity” is open.

Karena mempunyai peluang yang besar untuk lancar dan sukses jika di seriuskan.

2.      Explain the difference between an opportunity and an idea.

Opportunity : Adalah situasi menguntungkan yang menciptakan kebutuhan akan produk, layanan, atau bisnis baru.

Idea : Ide. Dalam bisnis, ide sangat dibutuhkan untuk membuat sebuah inovasi agar usaha bisa semakin berkembang.

3.      Describe the three general approaches entrepreneurs use to identify opportunities.

-          Observing trends : Tren menciptakan peluang bagi wirausahawan untuk diikuti. Tren yang paling penting adalah:

a.       Economic forces.

b.      Social forces.

c.       Technological advances.

d.      Political action and regulatory change.

-          Solving a problem : Mengidentifikasi peluang untuk menyadari saat ada masalah dan agar bisa menyelesaikannya.

-          Finding gaps in the market place : Kesenjangan produk di pasar merupakan peluang bisnis yang berpotensi. Celah di pasar sering kali dibuat ketika suatu produk dibutuhkan oleh sekelompok orang tertentu tetapi tidak mewakili pasar yang cukup besar untuk menarik pengecer atau pabrikan.

4.      Identify the four environmental trends that are most instrumental in creating business opportunities.

-          Economic Forces : Economic trends help determine areas that are ripe for new startups and areas that startups should avoid.

-          Social Forces : Social trends alter how people and businesses behave and set their priorities.  These trends provide opportunities for new businesses to accommodate the changes.

-          Technological Advances : Advances in technology frequently create business opportunities. Once a technology is created, products often emerge to advance it.

-          Political Action and Regulatory Changes : Political action and regulatory changes also provide the basis for opportunities. Company created to help other companies comply with a specific law.

5.      List the personal characteristics that make some people better at recognizing business opportunities than others.

6.      Identify the five steps in the creative process.

-          Preparation = mempersiapkan ide bisnis

-          Incubation = mengumpulkan semua ide

-          Insight = menambah wawasan tentang bisnis yang akan dijalankan

-          Evaluation = mengevaluasi kesimpulannya khawatir ada yang kurang

-          Elaboration = pengerjaan secara tekun dan cermat

7.      Describe the purpose of brainstorming and its use as an idea generator.

To generate a large number of ideas and solutions to problems quickly.

8.      Describe how to use library and Internet research to generate new business ideas.

-          Library : Talk to a reference librarian, who can point out useful resources, such as industry-specific magazines, trade journals, and industry reports. Simply browsing through several issues of a trade journal or an industry report on a topic can spark new ideas

-          Internet Research : If you are starting from scratch, simply typing “new business ideas” into a search engine will produce links to newspapers and magazine articles about the “hottest” new business ideas.

If you have a specific topic in mind, setting up Google Or Yahoo! E-mail alerts will provide you to links to a constatnt stream of newspaper articles, blog posts, and news releases about the topic.

9.      Explain the purpose of maintaining an idea bank.

o   Establishing a Focal Point for Ideas

-          Some firms meet the challenge of encouraging, collecting, and evaluating ideas by designating a specific person to screen and track them—for if its everybody’s job, it may be no one’s responsibility.

-          Another approach is to establish an idea bank (or vault), which is a physical or digital repository for storing ideas.

o   Encouraging Creativity at the Firm Level

-          Creativity is the raw material that goes into innovation and should be encouraged at the organizational and individual supervisory level. 

10.  Describe three steps for protecting ideas from being lost or stolen.

-          Step 1

a.       The idea should be put in a tangible form such as entered into a physical idea logbook or saved on a computer disk, and the date the idea was first thought of should be entered.

-          Step 2

b.      The idea should be secured. This may seem like an obvious step, but is often overlooked.

-          Step 3

c.       Avoid making an inadvertent or voluntary disclosure of an idea, in a manner that forfeits the right to claim exclusive rights to it.

Lunar Eclipse

The lunar eclipse is an event when half or all of the moon is covered by the shadow of the earth. It happens when the earth is between the sun and the moon in the same straight line, so that the sun's rays can not reach the moon because it is blocked by the earth. With another explanation, the lunar eclipse appears when the moon is in opposition to the sun. The moon takes 29.53 days to move from one point of opposition to another. So it should, if there is a lunar eclipse, will be followed by the sun eclipse because both nodes are located on the line that connects between the Sun and the earth.

Actually, when a lunar eclipse is going on, the moon can still be seen. This is because there is still a sunlight that is deflected into the moon by the earth's atmosphere. And most of these deflected rays have a spectrum of red light. That is why at the time of the lunar eclipse, the moon will look dark, can be red copper, orange, or brown.

The lunar eclipse can be observed with the naked eye and it is not harmful at all.

When the lunar eclipse is in progress, Muslims who see or know the eclipse are recommended to pray (shalat khusuf).

The types of lunar eclipses

Moon Eclipse can be divided into three name:

• Total lunar eclipse is divided into 2:

    - Total negative lunar eclipse: In this eclipse, the moon will be right in the NTT area and the moon color becomes red but uneven.

    - Total positive lunar eclipse: In this eclipse, the moon passes through the center point of the umbra area and the moon's color becomes evenly red.

• Partial lunar eclipse

In this eclipse, the earth is not entirely blocking the moon from the sun. While the other half of the surface of the moon is in the penumbra area. So there is still some sunlight that reaches the surface of the moon.

• Penumbra lunar eclipse

In this eclipse, all parts of the moon are in the penumbra. So the moon can still be seen with a gloomy color.

CNN Breaking News : Cell phone CANCER risks (iPhone, Galaxy, Blackberry)

          So today, I’ve seen a breaking news from CNN entitled “Cell phone CANCER risks (iPhone, Galaxy, Blackberry)” and I think it is very important for people to know that a cellphone is very dangerous if we don’t know how to use it. Like when we’re on a call with someone, if we put the cellphone near our head, sometimes it makes our heads dizzy, right? You know what? Because the radiation from our cellphone is so big and dangerous for our health.

 

          What I’ve heard from the news is, that cellphone cause cancer risk. Even it’s Apple, Android or something else, it have a bad radiation that cause many disease. The world health organitation says that the radiation from cellphone is a possible carcinogenic to humans.

 

          W.H.O : Cell phones and cancer similar risk as :

 

1. Lead

2. Engine exhaust

3. Chloroform

 

         But we don’t need freak out because all these years we’ve been on cellphones holding them to our head and like what we’re talking about it’s being bad, but that’s done. You can’t do anything about that. And if you’re on the phone right now, you don’t need to drop it. One phone call is not giving you a cancer.

 

      So what do we do? Well, we are so lucky that there is something we can do. Yeah, it’s an earphone to keep that phone away from your head. That is really easy to do, you can use bluetooth, headphone, etc. But the point is keep the cellphone away from your head. And the other one is, do not carry your phone on your bodies because it’s not good either.

        HELLO!! Long time no see you guys, i was so excited to tell about my story at "DEWA ATHENA".. i don't know how to start it, well let's go!

        First i heard about Dewa Athena, i was like, what is that thing? Isn't it god or something old? But then, i was given to know that Dewa Athena is a few days for each class from 3'18 and 3'19 to fight and compete to get the champion. Hmm, interesting, right?

        By the way, before Dewa Athena begin, each class must have a jersey shirt that shows their identity either class or name. So i and kevin tryna make it in tailor, because it's cheaper than buying it at school. thanks kevin for taking care of everything.

        The day is come, TET TORETT~~

We met each other by the shirt that we make at tailor, and guess what? IT IS SOOO CUTE.. it's red and had my name on my back, i can't wait to take a photo today!!

        The first race we did was dodge ball boys. It's quite fun to see them playing while everyday i saw them just sat and watch the teacher explaining something, i can see that they had expertise in several fields, and make me feel proud, even if we lose the game.

        There's many game on Dewa Athena :

4. tug of war

6. basketball

7. dodge ball

        I am playing futsal girls, volleyball, tug of war.. the three of them was lit! Especially dodge ball. By the way, badminton boys and girls and futsal boys can ran through the semi finals and make our class proud. Even if we lose, we are one. ❣️❣️
